Amelia’s POV
Pushing thoughts of Damien aside, I supposed I could understand my family not wanting to lose me as they had lost Amelia, and that this fear could have led them to keeping me in the dark about a lot of things.
I wasn’t thrilled in any way with this outcome but I could at least understand it, and where they were coming from. I also still loved them deeply. They were more than just my family, they were all that I really had.
As frustrated and angry as I was, I really couldn’t turn my back on them, nor did I want to.
I wanted us all to be okay.
Sienna stayed with me in my room for a while, encouraging me to make up with the family. It took a little bit, some space and time, but eventually, I accepted what she was saying.
