Jake’s POV
A week passed.
Amelia and her baby had both safely made it back to my pack, but they were still at the hospital. Amelia was still unconscious, and the baby still needed some care. Though she arrived earlier than expected, because she was fully werewolf, there wasn’t as much concern.
But Dr. Wyatt wanted to be careful, and I wasn’t going to argue, especially when we wanted the baby to be near her mother, to be there when Amelia woke up and wanted her.
Despite my desire to be at Amelia’s side in the hospital as much as possible, there were other matters to attend to. I had already sent word to the Alpha King with as much knowledge as I knew what had happened to Amelia.
