As I filed, I glanced back. Then glanced back again. On the third time, Cara had turned toward the hallway. I lowered my pile, looking back at her, just as she rushed the door. She reached forward and snatched a wrist – the wrist of someone who had been reaching forward to turn off the light to the room. Presumably, afterwards, they would have shut and lock the door. Cara, gripping the wrist firmly, yanked the culprit into view. It was Gwen, the nurse who hated me. “What do you think you are doing?” Cara asked.
