Unraveling Secrets Of The Devil

Prologue

   I woke up to realise I was tied up. I was sitting on a chair with my hands and legs tied up to the legs of the chair . I turned around to see Stella and Mason in the same condition but still unconscious. I don’t remember what happened exactly, but I remember that I was going to Evelyn's house to talk with her parents . I had to know more about her. I blinked my eyes to clear my blur vision and glanced around to see where I was. I was in some sort of a garage. There were buckets, broken pieces of wood and cut ropes all over the place . I tried to escape myself from the restraints. I moved my body rapidly to free myself but of no use and on top of that I felt a sting of pain where the ropes were tied.

 “Don’t try much darling, you’ll just end up hurting yourself. You can’t escape” A voice spoke behind me . I turned around but couldn’t see who it was . “Did you really think it was that easy to go against our boss ?” he asked . Boss? Who is this boss ? So it means this guy is not the mastermind behind all the things happening. “Speak up!” he shouted and I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head. “ AHH” I groaned in pain. “Who is this boss?” I asked . “The one you are going against and planning to pull down” he scowled. “The one behind all of this and the one who has ordered to kill you if you don’t sign this agreement and join our g**g” he said. “g**g ? So you have more people working for you other than the kidnapped ones?” I asked . “What did you think little punk? That we would do all this stuff with just a handful of intelligent people ? Did you really think we would risk them into doing everything ? We have a big g**g with a bigger hand behind all of this” he said in a creepy tone . 

Stella stirred as she woke up . She got tensed as she realised that she was tied up . “Ah! Your lady has woken up Dexter. Heard that she is your assistant and you both do a great job together . What do you think Dexter ? Should I kill her to make you accept the offer or will you directly accept it and save both of your lives” I could literally hear him smirk. “What’s going on? Where are we?” Stella asked as she tried to unrestraint but in vain again . “No use young lady” he said . I reassured her by signalling with my eyes . She understood what was happening and kept quiet. I again felt a sharp pain in my head again. “Who the hell are you? Come and talk in front of me if you have guts” I yelled at him . “Oh! Overconfidence huh? Remember one thing Dexter , You can never reach our boss. You’ll fail!” with that he got me and Stella one last time and left .

 I’ll not fail . I haven’t failed a single mission I’ve taken up till now and I’ll not fail this mission either . I have to escape from here with these two before he comes back . I really don’t know what they do with those people. Whatever they are doing is illegal and dangerous . They have kidnapped soo many people and even killed few mercilessly. Maybe they killed the ones who refused to work with them just like us ? What do they do with the others? They don’t kill them for sure . They use them. But for what? Who is this boss ? What does he do ? I have to find out and I will. I’ll not leave a single detail and I’m sure one day I’ll bring him down . Whoever you are behind all of this, you are definitely going to pay for whatever you are doing and for k********g us . You offered us a job but I’ll not even give you that chance. You will be put behind the bars with your execution date fixed. With so many thoughts running in my mind my headache started increasing. My mouth felt dry and I slowly started feeling drowsy.
