I wake up feeling drained. The feel of someone’s body heat lying beside me makes me snap from the last dredges of my sleep. My eyes snap up to look at who is lying beside me as my heart begins to start thumping loudly in my chest out of fear. My body settles back into the warmth of the mattress when my eyes land on the concerned green orbs that belong to Derrick.
