AMELIA ROSE'S POV

It’s another day in my life, and I’m determined to do something meaningful. Let me quickly get ready for another job hunt.

I’m so sorry for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Amelia Rose, and I’m currently in New York. I came all the way from Korea to build a better life for myself, but unfortunately, I’m too clumsy for almost everything.

That’s why I left Korea to hustle here in New York, hoping that things would finally get better. But finding a job has been really difficult.

I’m a nurse, and I’m currently hoping to get a job at the biggest hospital here in New York. I’ve already dropped my CV there, but I haven’t heard anything from them yet.

I’m still waiting.

Hopefully, today will be the day I finally get some good news.

I quickly got out of bed and started getting ready. I couldn’t afford to waste another day sitting around doing nothing.

Today, I was going to find a job.

At least, that was the plan.

MAXWELL STERLING'S POV

I had just woken up after falling asleep late last night. I had spent hours in a video conference with some investors, and it had completely drained me.

My name is Maxwell Sterling. I’m one of the richest young bachelors in New York, and I own several hospitals across the world.

My hospital here in New York is the biggest of them all.

But enough about that for now.

It was time for my morning jog.

I quickly got out of bed and walked to my closet to look for something suitable to wear for my jog.

After changing into my jogging clothes, I walked over to my drawer and put on my expensive wristwatch. I put on my earphones, started playing my music, and walked out of my room.

My maid was waiting for me outside with a cup of coffee in her hand.

I took the coffee from her, drank it, and handed the cup back to her before heading outside.

My driver was waiting for me.

“Good morning, sir,” he greeted me.

I didn’t respond, as usual.

I simply walked past him and began my morning jog.
