Chapter 2

Allara's P.O.V Saturday mornings could easily be described as my favorite time of the week, no early morning training just sweet relaxing sleep. Seeing this as my personal day off everyone was aware that on Saturdays, no one was to disturb me, so imagine my surprise when I felt my bed dipping under the weight of somebody’s presence. I was ten seconds away from smacking who ever dared to disturb me, when I felt his lips press down on my forehead, melting away my agitation. Waking up to the sight of his forest green eyes staring down at me, no amount of sleep could ever beat that. “Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.” How on earth could his arrogant, entitled tone still come across as charming? “You’re going to get us caught. Sneaking into my bedroom on a Saturday of all days, they’ll figure it out for sure or perhaps think you have a death wish!” Just like that I knew what I had to do. I was going to have to kick his ass in order to keep our secret, it was the only way. His eyes resembled a doe caught in headlights when he saw me smirk. Grabbing him by the collar, I pulled him over me, onto the mattress, pinning him down beneath me. After acknowledging our position, my focus started slipping giving him the perfect opportunity to flip us over,  burying my petite structure under his weight. I have to admit defeat had never felt this good, try as I might there was no use in hiding my smile. “Allara!” Fuck! Aiden swiftly got to his feet, helping me up. Seeing both Bethany and Chelsey’s baffled faces made me realize, I really needed to start locking doors. How could I explain this without revealing anything? The odds were definitely stacked against us, both of us resembled firetrucks from our heated scuffle, not to mention the position they caught us in. They were clearly amused by our bashful attempts to appear less guilty. To keep the awkwardness from growing, I asked Aiden to give me and the girls some privacy. When the door finally closed behind him, Chelsey let out an ear piercing shriek of pure girly delight. I should have known they would understand, guilt was quickly replace with joy as I shared the nights events with them.  Overflowing with happiness,  I turned towards Beth, signaling her to spill her guts concerning the remainder of her evening with Greyson. She was smitten as a kitten, from the way she described her evening. Apparently shortly after we left, the rest of Aiden’s gang started their prowl for the night, leaving Beth with Greyson’s undivided attention. In fact they enjoyed each other's company so much he asked her out, leading to her intrusion this morning. Beth had wanted my help for her date.  We might as well have joined the CIA, this date was handled with precision planning, no stone was left untouched. We might be crazy but our “first date” mission was going to be executed perfectly. Dressed up and ready to go, Bethany looked absolutely stunning, her slim tanned body was hugged perfectly in an emerald green dress ending just above her knees. Stepping back from our handy work we were left in complete and other awe, Chelsey's make-up skills were truly enchanting. She had given Beth intense smokey eyes, creating an in inescapable, hauling gaze, poor Greyson wouldn't be able to look away. My hair styling skills may not have been as impressive but the soft curls I gave Beth, framed her face perfectly, she looked absolutely breath taking.  Phase one of our mission was almost complete, next up Chelsey and I had to get ready to perform our individual tasks. Chelsey was tasked with parent control, her sweet bubbly personality was easily misleading, not to mention she was a complete daddy's girl. Our Alpha's strict demeanor couldn't withstand Chelsey's big green puppy eyes, add one pout from his little girl and he was putty in her hands. As for me, I had to keep Aiden busy for the night.  Distraction seemed like the most rational route for my mission and knowing Aiden, I knew just what to wear. Teasing Aiden was considered a specialty of mine, I still remember how his eyes lit up the first time he saw me in a pair of leather leggings so pants were a no brainier.  I decided to pair it with some strappy heals and a baby blue cut sleeved shirt, exposing my shoulders. Hair was just as easy, a simple ponytail, nothing made a werewolf swoon harder then seeing a potential mates exposed shoulders. Crazy I know, why shoulders? Well during werewolf mating ceremonies it is a custom to mark one another by sinking your fangs into the soft tissue of your mates shoulder. Sounds possessive, not to mention the fact of it ruining your wedding dress, but its what they like so no use in trying to change it. I on the other hand well, getting marked in front of the entire pack doesn't sound quite as appealing to me, especially considering the sounds. Apparently the feeling of being marked comes across as orgasmic, giving it more reason to do it in private, according to me.  With phase one complete, it was time to disband our group, in order to set phase two afoot. Phase two didn't entail to much, basically Bethany just needed to slip out of the house unnoticed. Executing this however required all opposing parties to be distracted. Chelsey had already worked out the details of her scheme and in all honesty I would have loved to see her performance.  I could already picture the shocked facial expressions, when she announces her baby fever obsession. My brain however came up empty, winging it would just have to do. By the time I made it to his bedroom, nerves were starting to take their toll on me, my heart felt like a chained animal trying to escape. The door swung open, with barely a second to register, he pulled me into his room, pinning me against the door as he shut it.  To my disappointment he merely said hello in a teasingly husky tone before letting me go. This one move set coarse for a game of cat and mouse. I might not have complete control of our situation but it was enough for Bethany to escape. We ended up getting Chinese takeout and driving to meadow peak, where we decided on having a picnic on the back of his candy-apple-red pick up truck. Aiden looked effortlessly charming with his messy black hair and a plain white tee. It really didn't take much for him to captivate my attention, built like a swimmer, his broad shoulders and chiseled features, practically screamed for my attention. Beneath the starlight everything seemed at peace with  light music from his stereo filling the night sky. Around two o'clock Sunday morning we finally started heading home, last night had been better than imagined, we practically danced the night away in the clearing next to his truck. My mind however really only wanted to know one thing. Why hasn't he kissed me yet? I've gotten several cheek kisses, but not even a single kiss on the lips. Was he waiting for me to make the first move or was this still part of our game of cat and mouse? Contemplation was brought to an end at the sight of a blinding light storming down at us.  Thank the heavens for werewolf fast reflexes, Aiden had swirled the Car within the nick of time, avoiding the collision completely. A sigh of relieve barely escaped my lips when my eyes caught sight of the rear-view mirror, the car from moments ago was making a U-turn.  The near collision was no accident, they were going to try again. Speeding down the road, we attempted to put as much distance between us and them, yet it was to no avail, they were determined.  Home was about seven miles away, surely they wouldn't dare trespass onto werewolf territory or perhaps they would, the reasoning behind all of this was still not clear. Were they rough werewolves? Perhaps they were witches, our two communities haven't really seen eye to eye. Worst case scenario they could be hunters. Growing up hunters were our type of monsters, they were super human soldiers set with the idea that all magical beings needed to be eliminated. According to legend,  the first ever vampire was responsible for their origin, he had enlisted a group of human soldiers to create his army. Instead of turning these humans he merely fed them his blood, enriching their strength, speed and sight. Their task was to wreak vengeance on the witches who turned him into a monster of the night. The years of drinking vampire blood had mutated their genes over time, which they passed down from generation to generation. Along the passage of time there was an uprising causing them to update their list of prey, suddenly all magical beings were to be hunted including vampires.  Rearing a turn in the path, Aiden was forced to slow down, resulting into them ramming us off the road. Ears zinging, eyes blurring I reached towards Aiden, to my disdain my hand landed on his empty seat. Adrenaline shot through me like a lightning bolt, bringing the world back into perspective for me. Looking into the side mirror my blood ran cold at the sight of five rough wolves circling Aiden's obsidian black wolf, he was going to try take them all by him self. Forcing my aching body out of the car, there was no way I would ever allow him to attempt such a ludicrous attack alone. The rustling of dry leaves beneath my weight caught everyone's attention, two of the five roughs took particular interest as they approached me.  What was a girl to do? I kicked of my heals, dashing towards the wood, hand to hand combat with a wolf was never a good idea, best I could do was buy some time. Monstrous howls roared behind me, ducking and diving between the forest trees, they where gaining on me. Foolishly of me, looking back seemed like a bright idea for the moment. Large sinister eyes gleamed between the bushes, a mere pup approached barring his fangs in all their glory. The sight behind him however was much more unnerving, a silver wolf twice the pup's size made its way closer. Gulping away my fear, I felt frozen in place.  Aggravated growls between the pair of wolves were exchanged, making the grey pup step down, retracting back into the shadows. Obviously Mr. Silver wasn't into sharing. His eyes came across as bloodshot, hungry for the thrill of the fight. Turning my back on him now would be ignorant since he was within leaping distance from me,  I had no choice but to fight.
