On a period of war.
The kingdom was under attack and his daughter Sonia was not in the kingdom. The kingdom suffered a heavy casualty that the king was severely injured that he was near death.
Sonia never knew her father was injured till his dead.
When she came back from war and she found out her father is dead she was so angry that she ordered all war prisoners to be killed.
She went ahead to put anyone who married a foreigner to dead and all foriegers in the entire kingdom dead.
She was so furious that who every did something wrong that does not warrant killing was killed.
