FEAR AND STABBORNESS

1054 Words
She looked at me as if I had hit her. She retreated to the other end of the couch, as if retreating more and more toward the door. s**t, I scared her.  "Look, Nalla, I'm sorry. I didn't mean ... "I was confused by the very sight of her. "Trust me, please. I'll be back."  "It all sounds so great. Only, I don't believe in that. At least not until the opposite is shown. "   "You sound like an adult." I commented, God knows why. "Okay, can you wait for me for a month?"  "It's not like there's a crowd around me," she said coldly.  "And it should be ... so you'll be there?"  "I will. Appear."  "I'll be back. I will give you heaven and earth, just wait for me. "  "Can I go now?" "Why? Am I scaring you? ”  "We have resolved, let's call them that, important issues. What should I do here with you now?”  I got up and went to the window. I want so badly to kiss her, hug her ... man, I'm dead if she f***s me off. I saw new neighbors through the window. They're holding hands again ... sweet, aren't they? Not!  "Come see these pigeons." I said sharply. "I hope we will never be like this ..." I showed her the scene in front of the building where the couple in love hugged so sweetly.   "What are they missing? They look happy. "  "The building has f*****g thin slabs between floors. I hear them arguing every night. "  "Then why acting?"  "I have no idea. I haven't understood that for a while. "I pulled her to me and hugged her. "Let's not argue."   She rested her head on my shoulder. I will remember that first touch until death. Her first step towards me. I kissed her hair, I couldn't resist. I didn't even try. I have enjoyed. A hedonist ... a real hedonist.  "Kiss me," she whispered shyly. "Please."   Who am I to not fulfill that little wish of that girl? Although I didn't believe in myself. I turned her to face me, she looked a little scared. As gently as I could, I sank to her lips. She grabbed me around the waist as if she was drowning. It's like she's going to fall off the roof of the building if she lets me go. I led her to the couch. I expected her to let me go, but she just hugged me even tighter. I was not allowed to gamble like that. I put her down on the couch and sat down next to her. She looked at me somehow ... almost disappointed.   "Ask me whatever you want, but I won't sleep with you for a while."   I watched her cheeks turn red. She's so cute when she's ashamed. Go back to the kiss, I told myself, and keep my hands in place. I approached her again. We were barely a few inches apart. She put her arms around my neck, and her cute little arms. f**k, I'm starting to react to her closeness. If I stop kissing now, I nailed the last nail to myself. f**k again, I shouldn't think so much. I adjusted "more comfortably" and continued to kiss her. God, forgive me ... my mind flew into the no-go zone.   "Little one ..." I whispered as I interrupted the moment with great difficulty.  "Thank you ..." she said, putting her hands on her lap.  She looked sad. I didn't know what to do. Should I say something? Should I keep quiet? Hell, I've always known ...  "Nalla, what do you thank me for? I repeat, ask me whatever you want, I will fulfill absolutely everything. " "I do not know..."   "Do you like going out?" I asked to change the topic, and to get to know her better.  "Not too much. Few places play the music I love, so I end up tired."  Ha! Music! I got up and went to the display case next to the TV. I opened it as if I were hiding the holy grail in it. Oh, yes, my disc collection.  "Come and choose what you want to listen to."  She looked at the shelves as if lost in Wonderland. The discs were stacked on shelves by genre. She ran her thin fingers over them carefully. She loves music. She chose a disc that I didn't even know the youth was listening to. Frank Zapa. Man, that one died when I was still in diapers. She reviewed the playlist and put it back in place. She moved to another shelf, among sonnets and requiems.   "You don't look like someone who listens to classical music." She smiled at me.  "I'm listening to everything."  "It's time to go ..."  "I'll take you home," I said. "And you're already late like this."  "Don't worry about it." She headed for the door and paused. "I have obligations tomorrow. If you want ... "  "And I will," I interrupted . "At four by the fountain?"  "I'll wait. Do you have a mobile phone? ”  "Nowadays?" She laughed. "No, I use a pager."  "You are crazy. Come on, type in the number and let me know when you get home. "   "Are you worried about me?"  "Of course. Come on, phone in the sun."  She memorized the number and kissed me on the cheek. One thing came to my mind. She never said my name. Not once. I hugged her, kissed her hair and thought about it.  "Little one, will you do something for me?"   "Right now?"  "Very briefly, and you can do it along the way. You have never called me by name."  "Really?" She asked in astonishment.  "Yes really. I have never heard my name ... "  "Victor, I don't think that's really nice of me," she said brightly.  And her pronunciation of my name echoed in my head. It sounds so seductive. Come on, monkey, pull yourself together.  "Thank you, little one."  "You're welcome, see you tomorrow."    I kissed her briefly and she left. I didn't want to follow her because I don't want her to be my guest to whom I will have to open the door on arrival and when I will send her away. And that thought made me find a spare key. And then I remembered ...
