The mysterious book

During the apocalypse where all lands are covered with cats, She and her husband and her 5-year-old son, they lived high in the mountains in a castle with all the groceries provided, and all the windows and doors were barricaded with all the lights in the house on, you could say that the place was very safe and had no space for nither a cat or mouse to enter. They had everything they needed to survive in the years to come, and the rooms were comfortable and cozy but there still was some weird smell in the air like this castle has a deep history that somehow managed to stay till this day. However, one day while she was cleaning the library she finds a mysterious book with a hard brown cover and black shining stone in the middle, at first she was not sure whether to open the book or not, but the curiosity was stronger than her so as she opens the book begins to read it she founds out many things she was not aware of before, soon shocked by it she closes the book and she went down to the basement, a portal opened in front of her and swallowed her.

After the turbulent travel in the portal, she arrives in a place, and time somehow very familiar to her. The portal brought her back 6 years before the apocalypse, at the time when she meets her future husband. It was raining cold night when she was crossing a street and a car almost hit her, but she was saved by a tall and dark-haired man with blue eyes. After that incident, they stayed in contact, and soon they began to date. She found out she was pregnant with him, and soon blurred memories started to come to her. As time passes she found a book in her backpack and as she opens the book she remembered all the memories from the future.

The book was the same book she found in the library in the castle 6 years ago. As she reads the book everything starts to make a little sense to her, she didn't know how this book traveled with her in the time or any of the happening but what she did knew that this book was not an ordinary book but has a guideline on the events that had happened in the history and are about to happen, there where no author on the book or any details on when is published, only the text and some weird pictures in it.

In the book was written the prophecy of the world and how in every 5 years one animal kind will domain the world and how non-humans are salvation for humankind, but the non-human was not clear to her because it was written in language that she doesn't understand. It was explained some characteristics of non-human beings, how they drink red liquid to survive, and how they can't stand the sunlight, how they lived in the human world without being noticed, that they don't like cats. But it was still unclear to her who are these non-human creatures, how they stayed so long in this world without being noticed, and how they can help to save the world. 

She realized she needs to do something if she wants to save her family and the world she knew before is too late. So as she sits in her working room with a cup of coffee in her hand she began to read the book more focused and do research on the internet and make a plan on how to provide that from happening.
