I sat on the bed looking out of the window, feeling unsettled. I rubbed my hands over my face for memory to try to ease the feeling of anxiousness I was experiencing. Letting out a sigh, I stood up and began to pace my room while waiting for the result of the test that Doctor Reynold had conducted for me. My reflection in the mirror caught my eye, and I stopped. For a moment, I studied the woman looking back at me as I touched my hand to my hair. I'm glad I finally got my hair cut short. My long hair constantly reminded me of the hell I had been through. And then I stared at my eyes. They were dull. I couldn't find any spark in them. It's like they're dead…lifeless. Were my eyes like this in my past?
