Erix started to avoid me when he learned that my mate was Killian. I don't know if he does this on purpose, but he's avoiding me. And it all started with him learning Killian is my mate.
Lately, when I went home after work, he would approach me and invite me to his house for dinner or a late-night snack.
"Erix seems not at home tonight, too," my wolf commented when I glanced at Erix's home. "Seems like he is avoiding us."
"I know. That's why I wanted to talk to Erix if there's something between him and Killian."
"Maybe we have to wait for a chance to catch him."
I woke up early so I could catch Erix during his morning run. Bingo, I saw him running all sweaty coming towards his home. I got up and ran to block his way.
I need to confront him. It's now or never.
