SASHA I pushed at Nikolai in shock, needing space to process what he had just said to me. At first, he didn’t bulge, standing still like a brick wall, before walking away. What nonsense was he spewing from his mouth? I had come here to be with him, but when he had started to talk about one part of my family bearing a werewolf bloodline, I had snapped. There was no way that was true. And now this? “Say something, Sasha.” He said from behind me. What did he want me to say? “What exactly do you want me to say?
