SASHA Everything looked different. Brighter. I jumped up in shock, pushing Nikolai away from me, in a bid to get away from him as I tried to look around. I had to be dreaming. There was no other way to explain why I was seeing very brightly in the darkness. The room which was supposed to be slightly dark, since the moon was no longer shining so much, was bright. I could see every single thing in the room. I could even see my night shift draped over a chair at the far left of the room.
