I knew she was undressing. I could literally hear her clothes fall of her body in a small pool. f**k! I wanted to stay angry at her, but my body was saying something else.
I bit on my tongue and closed my eyes, trying to pretend like I was asleep, while she went about the room, picking up my clothes and hers, and placing them in a corner. I tensed as she approached me quietly.
“Nikolai…” her voice was quiet, and pinched at my heart. I knew it was only a matter of time before I turned to look at her.
Heck! I couldn’t even tell why I was as angry as I was in the first place. What she had said had only been an idea…it’s not like I could …urghh!
