“It’s big.” Sam didn’t know what that meant. If it meant anything. He didn’t think the house was particularly big, but maybe Bonnie had thought he’d be living out in the middle of nowhere in a tiny shack. He suddenly didn’t want to take her inside, but she reached for the door handle and got out of the rental car before he could say anything.
