Oliver's POV The moon goddess came to everyone's dream, especially everyone that came for lunch that day, including Rick, who had to sleep over in one of the guest rooms. Her visit was a scary one when she visited me. "Moon goddess," I blurted out in my dream when she appeared in the dark sky in her appearance with her hair dancing in the wind. "Why have you rejected the mate I have given you?" She questioned with her voice booming seriously. "Because she is feeble and human. She is just too weak to be my mate," I replied as I shrugged my shoulders. "As weak as she is, she is the one destined for you, so you must accept her to be your mate," the moon goddess insisted. "All my mates and my brother Andrew, and also my sister, Ryan, all have Wolf's as mates. Why must my case be different?" I questioned, as anger rose within me, even for the moon goddess. "It's unwise to make comparisons at this stage and I have made my request final, which is that you must take her as your mate to protect her," The moon goddess said finally before she disappeared. We all had breakfast and this time I didn't make a scene as usual but kept monitoring Stella as she ate. It was definitely obvious that the moon goddess appeared to everyone. "Oliver, I would like to see you in private when you are done eating," Callum announced while she ate. "Noted grandma," I replied without an argument which seemed to get everyone surprised immediately. When we finished, I went to meet my grandma in one of the lounge rooms on her wing that was private enough for us to have our conversation. "I'm sure you know why I called you here," She began as she flashed a perfect smile on her face. "The moon goddess must have visited you," I replied as I shrugged my shoulders. As calm as I was after the moon goddess visit, I knew I wasn't easily going to accept to take Stella as my mate still. "Yes, and I'm also sure she visited everyone, including Stella. And now I know why you have been behaving like the way you have been behaving, which is simply because you knew about this through your world senses and the help of the moon goddess to recognize your mate," Callum said. "Grandma, I told the moon goddess that she is weak and feeble and that's the same thing I'm just going to tell you, because I can't certainly lie about that fact," I responded with a huge scowl on my face. What! "You did what?" Callum blurted out as her tanned face turned ruby red in fury. "I did that, grannie. That's what happened even though she kept telling me that I must take her as a mate," I added, honing in with intense eyes. "You did what! Don't you know who she is? She is a goddess! How could you? I knew that you were definitely going to put me in trouble," Callum said. "I'm sorry grannie, but I really wouldn't accept her as my mate and I officially rejected her," I replied. "Well, she told me this and the main reason she came to my dream was to ensure that you just accept her as a mate and I just ensure that," Callum said. "I mean is it going to be Lisa that would be your mate? I'm sure you know it can't be possible to take a wolf that wasn't given by the moon goddess to be your mate," Callum added. "Grannie, no one is going to force me on this matter," I replied as I waggled away from the lounge room. "Well, we shall see," Callum said. The moon goddess appeared to Lisa and where she sat she remembered the words of the moon goddess in her dream. "It was never meant to be you, it's Stella, she is to be Oliver's mate, so don't even try to go against that," The moon goddess words sounded so cruel to her in her dream. She knew how displeased she was about this, and she already loathed Stella already but all this had done was to give her more reasons to do that. One thing was for sure, which was that she wouldn't allow me to know about this. I went out for a wolf walk thinking all about what had happened. I went with Rick, who spoke with me before I turned for the walk. "You are my friend Oliver, aside from being your personal assistant and that's why I'm going to advise you to take her as a mate," Ricky began, as I began to undress to change into a wolf. "What! What's happening to everyone," I blurted out in anger as I halted what I was doing. "She came to everyone's dream. You know I'm also a wolf, and she came to my dream advising me to convince you on the matter. In other words, if she is the one the moon goddess has picked to be your mate, then you shouldn't argue about it," Rick said. "I don't care what the moon goddess says. I'm definitely not taking her as my mate," I said as I finally transformed into a full wolf with my nose turning to a snout and my tail appearing with the entire wolf form. I went for my walk pondering all about everything that was said. When I returned, Rick was home from work and I met Lisa, who returned my clothes to me. "Hey," I said. "Hey," She replied with a smile. "So, did the moon goddess also visit you in your dreams," I questioned. "At all," She belied as she gave a nervous reaction. Little did I know the fact that she wasn't telling the truth. "Alright," I replied as we went together to the room after I changed. Stella was already getting ready to return home to the orphanage to get to her friend when Callum greeted her goodbye. "Hope there is nothing wrong?" She questioned "At all," Callum replied, knowing that she should keep what the moon goddess told her at first. "Alright, I will be back next week," Stella replied as she packed her things and exited the mansion.
