Stella's POV
Bling Bling!
It was an interesting outing with the maids as we went shopping.
At least I got to know about Mrs Callum's favorite foodstuffs to get, and it was really fun.
The thought of the event with Oliver bubbled tempestuously in my heart.
Deep down, I knew I wasn't ready to be entangled in his world and even though a part of me wanted to resign immediately, I knew I couldn't because of how sweet Mrs Callum was.
When we returned, Mrs Callum was on cloud nine, that we had mostly her favorites and that I was there to witness it at the end of the day.
Yeepe kayie!
"This is really nice, and you even got the ones I wasn't expecting," She bubbled as she examined the food items we got for her that she claimed were her favorite.
"Yes grannie. At least now I have more knowledge of what you would want," I gushed as I fluttered my eyelashes.
"That's just great! You should eat something soon. We will be having lunch and I would like everyone at the mansion, including my grandson, to eat at the same large dining table," Callum announced.
"That's just great," I said as a deep furrow appeared on my forehead at the mention of Oliver.
I was going to have to deal with eating at the same table with him, despite our present situation with each other, and I kept wondering how that was going to happen at the end of the day without any berserk turnouts.
"I hope there is no problem with that?" Callum questioned as her brows creased.
"Not at all," I feigned a perfect smile on my face.
"If it's about my grandson, you can actually ignore him. He is just fractured because he doesn't have a mate yet and doesn't want one," Callum said.
Oopps!
It was blatant enough that she didn't know that I was the actual mate that was selected as the moon goddess for Oliver.
Ofcourse!
She wouldn't be able to know that it was only reserved for the moon goddess and Oliver. Afterward, he would be given the ability to know his mate and that's how he found me.
"It's alright grannie. I guess I would just have to ignore him all through," I bobbed my eyes shut as I sighed.
A part of me kind of felt pity for him aside from the facetious part that I really craved him when I met him making love with his girlfriend, and it really did make sense now, all his resentful actions probably because he didn't have a mate and wasn't satisfied with the one given by the moon goddess.
"Alright then, let's get to prepare the meal," Callum bubbled, and we all went into the kitchen to help out with the maids as they prepared the meal.
I thought about Celine and what I would have to tell her when I met her about the fact that it would be really impossible to have both jobs.
Working at the mansion was really an exclusive job and I would have to drop other jobs since I had already made up my mind about working with grannie Callum.
The meal was set and everyone was present, including myself, Callum, Oliver and his girlfriend Lisa.
Ricks, Oliver's best friend and personal assistant, was also present at the moment for the lunch.
Oliver gave a scowl throughout with folded shoulders as he shot a feral look at me while we all began eating.
"Aren't you going to eat?" Lisa questioned as she noticed his attitude.
Rich was also disturbed about this until he realized what was happening when he saw the appearance.
"Isn't she the one you saw at the club royale that's the mate?" He whispered to Oliver, who shot a feral look at him indicating that he didn't speak about me when Lisa was actually present.
"Oops, sorry," Rick said in a compunctious manner.
"It's alright, I will eat," he sighed as he bobbed his eyes shut and began to eat with the rest of us.
Mrs Callum just flashed a smile on her face as she fluttered her eyelashes.
"I hope everyone is enjoying the meal, because it's one of my favorites," She asked as she felt a pang of inquisitiveness wash over her while she ate.
"Yes grannie," My voice stood out among the others that replied.
"What! She is not your grandma, get that?" Oliver blurted out as his tanned face turned ruby red in fury.
"What the heck Oliver! That's enough! You have just shown serious hostility to this young lady since she came, just because you must have met her somewhere and had a clash. I mean, what has she really done to deserve your hatred?"
Rick already saw how Oliver was so pissed up with everything, but he was too late to Pacify. Oliver was already full berserk right now.
"Screw this!" Oliver said, resisting the temptation to use his supernatural wolf strength to slam the table and just shot up from where he sat and exited the scene.
Rick followed behind, including Lisa, who kept calling on him.
"Just let him be. He needs to vent out his anger elsewhere and when he is done, he will eventually owe us an apology," Callum said as she gritted her teeth.
Everyone took deep breaths at what had just happened as we continued eating our meal.
That evening I slept over as planned, and it wasn't just any ordinary sleep as I dreamed.
This time it wasn't any dream I had about Oliver being my mate, but it was about the moon goddess.
Of course, I had heard about her but never thought she would come to me in my dream!
"You are the one. The mate of Alpha Oliver and never belittle yourself and don't let him or anyone belittle you," She whispered.
Her appearance wasn't that clear, and it was an oxymoron in the sense that while she was supposed to have a dark appearance, she shone when she appeared to me with her long beautiful hair that danced in the wind.
It appeared that I wasn't the only one she had appeared that night as she also visited Mrs Callum.
"Moon goddess!" Callum gasped as she saw the appearance of the moon goddess in her dream.
"Mrs Callum, highly respected even by the moon goddess, I know I'm not supposed to come to your dreams to tell you this," the moon goddess said.
"Tell me what moon goddess?" Callum questioned as she felt a pang of inquisitiveness wash over her.
"About the fact that Stella is to be your son's mate, and she must be protected by Oliver and you must make your son see reasons why he must take her as a mate at all costs," The moon goddess said.
Callum was really surprised until she wasn't as she finally understood Oliver's actions.
"But how do I convince him? He is so stubborn," Callum questioned.
"You must try your possible best," The moon goddess said before Mrs Callum woke up from her sleep.
It was blatant to her that even Oliver knew about this and that's why he was so hostile to her all through.
"That boy is just going to cost me a lot of trouble," she mumbled to herself.
