Azariah's POV:
I'm still not completely convinced that there isn't another that has attracted her. I still believe that someone is Clayton. I'm going to continue to keep my eye on him. I can't have her suddenly decide she wasn't going to do this all because of him. If he's the reason why she rejects me, I don't think I could keep myself from killing him. He knows how important this is, at least I would think he does.
He's pretty knowledgeable about this because when he was first moved into the mansion, he read a lot of the history of the royals along with other books on the vampire history and supernaturals. I was taught it all by Emma. She's been through this a few times now and knows more than enough. She knows more of what happened with the humans than what is in those books
