Chapter 13. Unexpected Turns.

1385 Words
Cas stood there for a good long time, her gaze shifting back and forth between the two paths while she weighed her options. Sear would take care of her and how she felt right now, knowing he wouldn't act quickly on his anger once she told him he truth of her date. Leon on the other hand would most likely act on his anger and kill the boy for attempting to take what was his because apparently she belonged to him. Either way, she wanted them both right now because also apparently those two girls from school spread around a rumor that she was a slut. Ugh. Well she couldn't stand on the side of the street forever. Finally though, it hit her and she pulled out her phone to tap the screen a few times while taking off in a quick walking pace, aimed towards Sear's work place. Soon she stopped though, next to a white and dirty building with flickering lights until they turned on brighter and as she slid her phone back into her pocket a bus pulled up right on time, Cas happy that she made it on time to catch the last one. She waited only about a few moments for the doors to open and walk onto it, showing her phone to see that she bought a ticket online. After the driver gave her a nod she walked over to take a seat in the back, waiting again for the bus to take off. Luckily that didn't take long and she was on her way out of the city during the night, more and more with every minute. Soon the city lights would be in the distance and the only lights on the road would be dim street lamps and the darkness of the bus would cause her to become tired but not fall asleep, instead she remembered her brothers would most likely be worried. So with a slight hesitation she pulled her phone from her pocket and sent out a text to them both by copying and pasting what she sent the first one. "I am going out of town for a few days. To clear my head and to clear the air between the three of us. I love you and I promise I'm safe, he's going to keep me safe." Once the text was sent she sent another then laid her bag against the window to use it for a pillow as she fell asleep for the next hour of her journey. ~ Leon had stayed home all night, cooking himself dinner and enjoying the silence and finishing his book. His mind wandering a few times to the events of when he made love to Cas. He spent some of his time cleaning the house and cleaning his room, normally Cas was the one to handle all of this so he wasn't used to it. Finally after he was done he fell back into his bed with an groan of pleasure and slight pain from all of his joints and muscles relaxing. His mind finally relaxing until he realized Cas had been gone for too long. What if that boy had done something to his sister? What if Cas was laying in the back of the car after being assaulted. His phone buzzed twice from his nightstand to symbolize he had gotten a text, which also pulled him from his paranoid thoughts. The message preview on his phone read off "Castiel" along with "I am going.." Before it cut off. Quickly he unlocked his screen with a simple slide of his thumb before tapping the message icon at the bottom of his screen. Her name was the first on his list of messages, the same amount of the message being shown and blocked out so he clicked on it and read the message out that. Sitting there in shock that his sister was now, God only knows where, his mind started to race again as he dropped his phone onto his bed. "How could she just leave like that? What the f**k happened?" He spoke out loud before growling lowly under his breath, slowly getting more irritated until his phone buzzed twice again, but this time Sear's name was the one on the screen. His message wasn't blocked out because Leon could clearly read out "What the f**k???" ~ Sear was busy with late night work when he got the text from Cas. During the whole night though, he as well was thinking of his time with her but not as much. He was more concerned with how her date was going. He loved his sister crazily but she couldn't marry one of her brothers, that would be wrong so he did want her to be happy even if it wasn't happiness that comes from him. When the text came through on his phone, it made the sound of a little bell. Without much thought he pulled his phone from his pocket and swiped his thumb across his screen to unlock it the same way Leon did, clicking on his message icon. The message he read though, caught all of his attention and stopped him from his work, standing there in shock. After staying there lost in his thought, he held his phone with both of hands to scroll down slightly in his messages to click on Leon's name and text out a simple "What the f**k???" before clicking send. Thinking that Leon hadn't fixed the problem he had caused last night and that Cas had left because of it. Now he had to finish his work for the night completely annoyed and worried wondering where his sister was going. Finally it hit him and his annoyance and worry went straight to paranoia with a small facepalm and then a rub of the bridge of his nose. ~ The bus ride didn't take as long as she felt it did when she was woken up by the extremely bright inside bus lights cutting on. Cas let out a little grumble, rubbing the sleep from her eyes before lifting up and grabbing her stuff to exit the bus after thanking the driver. There was a slight puff of dust when the bus pulled off and she turned to the parking lot, dusting her outfit off. The lot was dead empty except for one car, a black jeep. A jeep she missed seeing. A feeling of ease and relaxation washed over her body before she walked over to it slowly, waving her hand into the air and at the silhouette of the driver who started the jeep then stepped out to walk over in front of the vehicle. A man's voice soon was heard as she got even closer, slightly jogging until she saw him. The man dressed in an Air Force uniform and a big goofy grin on his face. His hair was dark black and his skin was a bit tanner than Cas's. "Castiel! There you are!" The man shouted then ran over to pull her into an embrace. His scent and hug was calming completely to her, making her forget about everything that had hurt her and everything she had experienced. "Dad....I have missed you so much. I'm sorry this is so sudden but I needed to see you badly." She let out a soft sigh while smiling. "It's alright Babygirl. I missed you too, I'm so happy you're here. Come on let's get to the base and you can tell me all about your brothers and life lately." He smiled and stepped out of the hug before keeping one arm around her to help her into the jeep once they got closer. He shut the door for her once she was in then walked over to get in the driver seat before putting the jeep in drive and taking off down the road. The cool air blew against Cas's face, chilling it lightly but once again relaxing her only slightly seeing as her thoughts were on her brothers, knowing they were either pissed or worried.....or both. Sadly she couldn't do anything about it now so with a small fall back into the leather chair. Cas closed her eyes and let the air against her face slowly blow away her stressful thoughts.
