Sear and Leon spent most of their night, laying in their own beds and thinking of their own plans to get their little sister back.
When morning finally came, Sear was awoke by a blaring ringtone of an anime opening he enjoyed.
He growled and without opening his eyes to look at the caller ID, clicked answer and grumbled the words "Hm..Yes? Hello?"
A familiar female voice came over the phone.
"Hello Sear, it's me. Riley. I can't believe you picked up."
His eyes shot opened and he growled again, this time out of anger.
"What do you want Riley? I told you to stop calling me."
"I just want to talk. Please."
With every second he was getting more and more absolutely annoyed.
"I told you to talk and you keep repeating the same damn thing. Goodbye!"
Right before he was going to hang up, What she said next, shocked him to his core.
"I think I'm pregnant Sear."
~
Leon had been peacefully asleep even after Sear's "f**k" scream echoed into his room.
He had already come up with his plan to go get his little sister and drag her ass back home if he had to. She wasn't allowed to run away especially to the man that abandoned them all.
Nope. Not happening on his watch.
Speaking of watches, or more or so, clocks, Leon's went off right on time as it did every morning.
As he got up he stretched his large body, letting out a groan while all of his muscles un-tensed, completely unaware of what his was brother was about to go through as Leon undressed and stepped into his shower.
~
Sear finally spoke up after zoning back into the world, only being greeted with Riley's voice repeatedly saying his name.
"You think or you know?"
"What?"
She responded after hearing him speak.
"Do you think or do you know??? Have you taken a god damn test Riley."
He heard the small gasp that escaped past her lips at his snap but still responded.
"I don't like the tone you're using Sear, you need t-.."
Before she could finish her smart-ass comment, Sear spoke in a louder tone, clearly pissed off.
"Do you think or do you f*****g know??!!"
His anger always quickly shut anyone up, especially her.
"I think..I haven't taken a test yet because I don't have money to go buy one."
A breath of annoyance left his body as he got up and grabbed clothes from his closet.
"I'm coming over with a damn test. Just stay there."
Riley's voice sounded a bit chipper at his words when she responded. "Okay!" In a happy tone.
Her tone only making him mad. He hung up and went to shower ever so quickly to get dressed and get going.
~
Sear somehow managed to get out of the shower faster than Leon, probably because his brother was jerking off or admiring his own look.
Either way, he was out of the house and nearly to the drug store when his phone began ringing again.
This time he did look at the caller ID and was a bit shocked before answering it.
"Cas, Hey, how are you doing? Are you okay?"
He heard her sigh then chuckle.
"Yes big brother I'm fine. I just wanted to call to say I'm sorry for worrying you and Leon. It wasn't my intention."
"Nah, it's totally cool. Dad called and explained so we understand sis. We just wish you would've come home before leaving out."
Cas chucked again.
"Would you guys have let me leave?"
Sear grumbled a bit then chuckled in return.
"You're right, we would've kept you home."
"Bingo."
Both of them started laughing and it felt nice, her laughter had calmed his nerves concerning this whole Riley thing.
"I'm glad you're both okay. I'll be home when I can get a ticket back on the bus, I kinda used the last of my money getting here and you know how dad is about giving us money."
He chuckled as he walked into the drug store to buy pregnancy test as quickly as he could before walking out.
"Oh yea, I know. That's just how the man is but we could send you some money or come get you."
He said hopefully.
"It's fine, I need to clear my head and being out here is helping me do that. Listen, I've gotta go, Dad is yelling for me. I love you Sear."
Her voice tone was a bit sad sounding but he knew his smart little sister would figure out what she needed to.
"Alright. I love you too Cas. Call me if you need something."
"I will."
"Good. Goodbye squirt."
"Heh. Goodbye Sear."
Silence.
He looked at his phone after she hung up, the call screen fading to show his background picture of him and her.
Before he could think of anything else though, he heard his name shouted from the front door he was standing a bit of ways away from.
"Sear! You're here, come on in."
With a sigh and a quick lock of his phone to slide it in his pocket. Sear walked inside and tossed her the bag.
"Here. Go on. I'll wait."
"I haven't seen you in a few days. I miss you."
"You haven't seen me for good reason Riley. Just please take the test."
His arms folded over his chest as he stood next to the front door.
"Sear can't we just apprecia-..."
"Riley, focus. Test. Now. Please."
Riley let out a small pout noise then as she walked to the bathroom, she kissed his cheek.
Which caused him to cringe but he hid it well until he heard the bathroom door click shut and lock.
Only then did Sear let everything sink in.
It all hit him like he had been hit by a freight train.
Slowly his large body sliding down against the wall and for the first time in a long time.
Sear began crying.
