The black maria stopped in front of kirikiri maximum prison to drop the new prisoners. Some appeared silent ,some didnt even take notice of their surroundings . The general atmosphere was gloomy and dark . The prison warden ,mrs cocker scanned through the faces of the convicts the lady was middle aged and had a demanour that showed she was a no nonsense lady she registered the prisoners and gave them their uniforms. Blue was meant for convinced prisoners while brown was for condemned prisoners . It would only be a matter of time before the hangman will come for them .It could be days ,weeks ,months too. The uncertainty of it made her sometimes pity those prisoners .

Among the prisoners was dark haied ,brown skinned beauty with intense brown eyes . The warden checked for her name .

'ivy johnson ' she called

ive came out and took her brown uniform even in prison,men still stared at her

'what a beauty ' one said.

But mrs Cocker saw more to her than that beauty ,there was a hidden story in those intense eyes she would never understand

Ivy went to the prison assigned for her till her death .There was an errie silence and aura around her that seemed to attract the warden

she would find out more about her.
