Ariella's POV “Wait!” Jennifer said as I turned toward the door. “You want to hear about your mother? Then listen.” She eyed me warily, took a deep breath, and began. “Elara was always the pretty one, so gorgeous and outstanding. Anyone who stood in front of her would feel ashamed.” She looked at me with envy. “That's why I didn’t like you either.
