As we come closer to the capital, the terrain changes. The road suddenly shifts from dirt to stone, the forest becomes more and more sparse until I can see it in the distance. The capital. I can see the sprawling city, more homes than I’ve seen in one place nestled against the castle up on a hill. The castle is made of stone, weathered and covered in ivy, but imposing even with all its charm. Gone are the small structures from the villages. Here the homes are more solidly built. The lawns are manicured, and the trees are placed in aesthetically pleasing positions by gardeners rather than growing wild where nature decides they should grow.
