Aurora
As the car reversed back towards me, I felt a sudden surge of hope. Maybe I'd get a ride finally.
But by who?
"Help me please," I said, my mouth shivering with the cold that had seeped into my body.
The window rolled down and I was surprise Damon and Ross.
Thank goodness!!
"What the hell...."
"Hop in please!!" they both said, Ross stepping out of the car with an umbrella.
Getting close to me, he placed it over my head and stood in the rain.
"Get in Aurora," he said, pulling the car door open and taking steps aside.
"I was trying to get a ride but no one would stop for me," I said, still shivering even inside the car.
" That's really unfortunate. Ross," he called, looking back. "Get in please."
