Aurora "This can't be," Professor Thorne whispered to himself as he observed the behaviours of the rats. The cage rattled, shaking violently as the rats became more and more erratic, moving in strange and jerky motions. They scratched at themselves, pulling out their furs as their eyes rolled widely. What sounded like howls scratched it's ways out of their throats before dying into high pitched squeaks. I stayed behind one of the walls, watching the three rats intently, hoping to find something fascinating in their behaviours, but I just couldn't see much difference.
