For the umpteenth time, the phone screen lit up with a notification with Zane’s name on it.
“Will you be coming back today or tomorrow? I miss you so much and I hope when you get back, we’ll be able to work things out between us.”
“I don’t want you to make a mistake by getting down with my brother as payback. I’m willing to give you whatever you want as long as you can forgive me.” The message read.
I sighed, having no better words to reply to him.
Lying to him wasn’t an option because the feelings were gone completely and I want to be with Asher now. There was no need to communicate with him because once we got back, Asher would announce our engagement properly then Zane would be forced to accept it.
