I was carefully watching the students participate in the competitions, from racing down to the basketball game. It was fun for most people who placed bets on it but I was worried about my Iris.
I wondered how she was holding up. She didn't want to do this but I compelled her to. Would she back out or would she continue? How was she feeling? Those were the only thoughts in my mind.
I wanted to mind-link her but I changed my mind. I already gave her enough motivational words yesterday and if she wanted to quit, she would have told me. I just hoped she would do well and not feel bad if she eventually loses.
When it got down to the fighting section, I sat erect. The first two people from my pack came out; one lost and the other won. So, it was a draw.
