The Turmoil of The Moon Goddess (#3)

Chapter 7- Katy

** 59 days after Anna wakes up **

I cannot believe she still does not remember me, and it is starting to feel like she never will, and I feel bereft without her friendship. Last night my cousins Jena and Zoe came to visit but I wanted to go back to bed after 20 minutes, it was so obvious they were just using me and my connection to Anna to find out what was happening with their new Luna. I got quite mad about it, my best friend, the kindest, most loving and giving person on this planet has been seriously hurt and they want to gossip. I made an excuse about being tired because of the pregnancy so I could send them home, it was only when I mentioned my pregnancy that they asked how things where. I was furious!

Andrew woke us up before the alarm this morning, when Alex realised what was happening, he apologised and told me to get back in bed for a bit. He came back up around 8am told me that he had to ask me a delicate question but that it would help Anna. In the end I told him to stop bumbling and spit it out. 

“Anna got her first moon blood last night”. 

Well, that is wrong for a start “no Anna’s been getting her moon blood since she was 14 years old” I remember it well because she got hers before I got mine. She was horrified, I was envious... I could not wait to be a woman who could have a child!

 “Ok I mean the first one since her accident, she freaked out and doesn’t remember the teachings and Andrew wants to know what he can do to help her, he wanted to ask you, but I told him no”. 

I am puzzled now “why?” I watch my husband look at me in confusion. 

“What do you mean why?” 

“Why can’t he talk to me about it?” 

“I just didn’t think you’d want to, it’s very personal and I didn’t want you to feel embarrassed or pressured.” My sweet husband, he is completely barking mad of course but always thinking of me and my comfort.

“Alex, I love you, and thank you for thinking of me but this is not a time for embarrassment- I know Anna as much as I know myself, I can help with this, I want to help. Take me to Andrew.” 

Alex agrees, tells me his brother has took over his study and takes me to him.
