The Turmoil of The Moon Goddess (#3)

Chapter 8- Madeleine

I miss Anna. I miss her ability to kick this household into shape. Katy has been heartbroken without her best friend, Alex feels helpless to make her feel better and Andrew... well he is either in painful despair, wishful hopefulness or manic helpfulness. I miss Anna, the nurses are good, and goddess bless Mrs Jones and Mrs Dawson, I dread to think of the state of this house without their dedication. 

Since Anna went to live with her Aunt my care has somewhat stalled, and it gave me a new appreciation for everything that girl did for us all. She never moaned or complained, even when she was in pain and suffering, she tried to shield us from it.

 I miss her, and I pray every day that she comes back to us, especially to Andrew. It is devastating to watch your child, no matter how big or how old they are, in despair and suffering and being helpless to make it better for them.

 Even when they wake you up shouting at 6.45am demanding how they help their mate with their moon blood! Anna will kill him when she finds out! I have a smile at that thought, I hope it does come true. 

I have calmed him down, give him some ideas on how he can help his mate, how his mate may be feeling and most importantly his manners when entering someone’s home and waking up his mother! 

By the time I’ve had my breakfast, medication and I’m washed and dressed Andrew has taken over Alex’s study. He has ordered a brownie baking kit that Anna will love, he’s had flowers sent and chocolates and perfume arranged too. Tomorrow a load of recipe books will arrive for her plus equipment and ingredients... her aunt is going to need a bigger house! 

Alex has forbidden him from talking to Katy about such matters and rightly so, ladies do not like to talk about these issues with any Tom, d**k and Harry... and Andrew’s it would appear! He calls Alex a swear word that I will not repeat and tells him if it were the other way around, he would help him. So, Alex relented- he will ask his wife and relay information. 

I am glad to see Andrew starting to come back to life. The loss of Anna and their baby has impacted on him so much. I hate that he carries this burden alone. I try to ignite the hope that Anna will remember, and she will come back, and it’s become a mantra. I miss Anna so much.
