"Sir you don't have to worry it's safe inside the mall. I will just pick few things and come back soon. You stay in the car"

She became worried about him. What if he is seen with her. He was a public figure to start with and she on the other side was just his employee. No she can let that happen not when there are rumours about him hating women.

"Well Miss Smith you don't get to order me around. I know you are worried about the rumours and stuff but I on the other side don't give a damn about them. Let them talk if they want" he said with a stern yet mischievous smirk.

He watch her reaction closely and he could see that she was indeed worried about him but why? Many women would love if he walk with them in public space like this why not her?

"I'm joking Miss Smith Lucas is taking care of it. No one would dare take a picture. Let's go" he left her standing there rendered speechless again. He deep his hands inside his pockets.

"I always wanted to experience going to mall but never had a chance now I got one why waist it. Tell me"

"We if you say that Sir why don't I teach you how to do it like ordinary people" she smiled catching up with William pace. "Bring the grocery basket" she said casually.

"What is that?" He asked with a frown. For he someone who had never done this before even when he was you he didn't know what she wanted.

"Mr Walker how did you grow into a big handsome man without knowing basic things like these" she said pointing at grocery basket and cart.

He watch her talking carelessly strange he didn't hate what she said and wanted her just to keep on talking. If it was another day he would made her life miserable for ordering him around just because she is a woman. The hatred he had for women was so big that it clouded his vision.

When she took a basket he took a cart and told her that they will use it instead of the small one. At first Amelia told him that she wasn't going to pick alot of things but he insisted on taking the big one with an excuse that he was somethings for himself.

"Miss Smith I want almost everything in here" he tease.

"Sir you can't do that. I don't think you have finished everything at your house or do you have people leaving with you that finish everything?"

"Something like that"

As he said he took alot of things and in all that he wanted fewer of them for his workers. But he couldn't tell Amelia now because he could see that she won't accept them. He could only stay quiet and follow her counter to pay.

William took his black card and handed to the cashier and that's when the cashier noticed him. At first she kept staring at his handsome face with his perfect physic but her gaze shifted to Amelia she watch her with hatred and William knew why she did so.

After they payed William call Jack to take the groceries to the car. "So Miss Smith I don't think you can still Cook at this hour. Maybe you should grab something to eat" he suggested walking to the restaurant around the mall.

"Sir I can't allow you to pay this time and I can't afford restaurants around here they are damn expensive" she complained.

"Seems like I don't have a choice fine let's grab something to eat then we can go where ever you want then you can pay"

"We can work with that I guess"

They are restaurant with Amelia being a chatter and William answering with one word. It was still hard relaxing around her knowing women's natura. He couldn't let his guard down and as for trust he couldn't trust her not at all. Some questions got to him so hard that he didn't want to answer them.

"Miss Smith I know I had promised to let you pay but I can't bring myself to do that. I had asked the manager to pack takeaways for your children too. It's only fair right?" He said watching his reaction.

"Fair enough but next time if there will be next time then I'll treat you. Mr Walker note this I won't take no for an answer"

"Stubborn woman indeed interesting" he smirk. The whole time he had been observing her and he could tell that she was one hell innocent woman he had met. Something about her screamed for his attention but her couldn't pinpoint it.

"We can go now right?"

"mmh" she agreed innocently. And William led her back to the car and for the first time he found himself opening a car door for a woman after 15 years.

"I hope Miss won't be over excited this time around" he made a sarcastic remark and everyone in the car choke on their saliva.

"No need to worry Mr Walker I had promised not to get over excited since happiness is a curse to me" She answered with a low voice and they could tell that there is an untold story behind her sadness.

A trip to her house was short, she didn't know whether Lucas drove fast or is it because after William's sarcastic remark she didn't say anything and decided to watch outside the window saying nothing. She did not even here Lucas announcing that they had arrived.

"Miss Smith after taking your time spacing out, tell me so that I can also go home" he said but she didn't hear him still. "Earth to Miss Smith"

She then hear him after he wave his hand infront of her. She snapped out of her thoughts. "Mmh... I'm sorry Sir... Please thank you for today, I can not thank you enough"

"It's okay as long you are home safe. Jack is waiting for you at your door"

"Thank you again Sir" she then left the car. She could feel his gaze on her and she hurried to get away from his intense gaze.

"Jack this is not all mine, take this back with to the car" she check the bags and almost everything William bought is her.

"I'm sorry Miss but boss bought all this for you please accept them"

"I can't Jack Mr Walker said he is living with alot of men in his house and he was buying for them"

"Trust me Miss, boss used us as escape goat truth is he bought all this for you"

She wanted to believe that her boss went extra mile for her. She turned and look at him from the distance. "Fine do whatever you want. I'll be back"

Saying that she ran to the car and stood near the window looking at him sternly it was like she was searching for something in his eyes but as always this man was unreadable and void of any emotions. He was always wearing a blank face.
