A lady in white gown got down from a car and look at the sky
“It was indeed a perfect night; the stars are shining brightly!” Yvanna smiled while complementing the beautiful sky.
She walks in a long red carpet as she enters the banquet hall with a handsome man holding her in his arms.
It was Gregory her childhood friend and soon to be fiancée.
As they entered the main hall, she noticed that everyone is looking at them with different emotions. Some look at them with admiration and some with jealousy.
Yvanna is wearing an off-shoulder fitted white gown that fits perfectly on her hour-glass figure. Her light yet elegant make up and hair style compliment her innocent and pure face aura. In addition to her perfect look, the handsome man holding her make the most of ladies jealous.
“Yvanna!”
Someone shouted her name and approached her. It was Lisa, her best friend. Her voice is very loud as she calls Yvanna and caught attention of some crowd.
Yvanna turns as she was called and saw Lisa. Yvanna smile as she sees her best friend. She walks to meet Lisa at the middle and hug each other.
“How are you bestie?! I miss you. Its been a long time... Are you doing fine? How you doing? Where are you staying? Are you ok?” Lisa asks many questions in a row.
Yvanna laugh lightly as she hears her best friend’s questions.
“I’m fine… and I’m staying at my parent’s house”
“You’re so beautiful as ever, you look like a goddess!”
“We are both Goddess!”
They laugh as they chit-chat. Lisa notice a handsome man approach them and hold Yvanna’s waist.
“Yvanna, who is this man?”
“Ohh Gregory I want you to meet Lisa, my best friend!”
Lisa look at Gregory’s face with admiration “Hello! Im Lisa!”
Gregory smile and greet Lisa “Hello! Im Gregory, Im Yvanna’s future fiancée!”
As Yvanna turns as she was called by Lisa. Most of handsome men attending the party noticed her. Some men are whispering with each other.
“Who is she?”
“She’s very beautiful!”
“She’s perfect!”
On the other corner of the banquet hall, two-sharp eyes look at Yvanna, watching her every move. His looks are very domineering, and some may think that he can kill someone just by gazing.
It was Nico Stuart, one of the most powerful and wealthy man in A City. He is the CEO of Stuart Group that owns a lot of commercial establishment in A City.
Jack, his personal assistant, cleared his throat as he sees his boss frowning with his sharp eyes.
Jack must have to say something, but he was interrupted by Nico.
“Let’s go!” Nico said coldly and prepare to leave.
Nico walked past Yvanna and their eyes met. Yvanna didn’t put much attention and retract her gaze. Nico leave the banquet hall with Jack.
Jack feel something weird about his boss. But to prevent danger, he chose to remain silent.
