Clark's POV. "You don't expect me to easily believe you when you say you are fine, Rex." I snapped as I looked at him. "How do you expect me to explain that you left yesterday around 2p.m to go pick up your kids and throughout yesterday, no calls and not even a single text from you. And you expect me to buy your "I'm fine?" I scoffed as I tilted my lips. He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at me for a while, like he was contemplating something. But then, being a werewolf was also limited. Without him letting me read his mind, I just couldn't sit across the table and hear his thoughts aloud and, right now, I wished that was possible.
