Elena's POV.
"What do you mean by you “calling in and saying they are not in school?" Marie screamed at the top of her voice as she looked at me.
"I just spoke with Mr. Heather and he said a man introduced himself as my brother, and he said he was going to drive them home." I responded as my heart raced fast.
I just couldn't find a better positive explanation for this. I couldn't let any harm come to my little angels.
"How could Mr. Heather be that careless? Why didn't he call in to confirm if the man's story was actually true? How could he just give out your kids to a complete stranger?" Marie growled angrily.
Her heart also raced fast and wild as she paced about in the room. "I don't want any harm to come near my godchildren else, I will break hell loose." She panicked even more.
