"Look at me, Alicia." She said as she held my arms. "This is none of your business, and you don't want to get involved with it. The moment you satisfy your curiosity, it might be late already, Alicia." She said in a calm tone as she looked at me.
I felt myself get weak instantly as I looked away. She was right but then, how could I forget the stranger from earlier today, Jayson Holmes?" I rolled my eyes as I forced out a smile as I looked at her.
"Okay, fine. I won't get involved." I mumbled as I looked at her.
"I know you, Alicia. I know you can be very stubborn at times." She scowled as she looked at me.
"Promise me you won't get involved in any of these?" She asked again as she raised up her pinky finger as she wore a broad smile on her face. "Promise me, Alicia."
