The Postpone

Audrey POV

Ryan and I had lunch at the restaurant and then he drove me back to the venue but when I reach at the venue I see, everyone was packing there staff out. I stopped a management member and ask him what happened? why is everyone is wrapping up?

" The event is postpone."

" What??? but why??

" We don't know the details and you can ask the information department. "

He walk away and I stood like a confused freak, thinking about why the event is canceled? I immediately, call Ryan to stop him from driving to his hotel. He told me he is outside. I walk back outside and found him standing at the entrance.

" What happened babe?

" The event is canceled."

" The event is canceled but why?

" I don't know but they are saying that the event is postpone to next month."

" So, what you are gonna do now? should I book flight back to LA?

I thought, Why don't I go see my family to Louisiana. It's been one year since I have last visited them on Christmas. I'll give them a surprise it might be wonderful.

" I wanna to go Louisiana."

" To Louisiana???

I give him a huge smile and got so excited to meet Cara it's feel like a decade since, I last seen her.

4 hours later

We landed on the airport and Ryan got our luggage and mean while I call the cab. We got in the cab and I told him the address.

" Audrey, Do you think it's a great idea to meet your parents?

" Yeah! Of course, and don't worry I have a lovely family and you are gonna love to meet them. They are not typical kinda of parents they are extremely supportive and when I told them I want to pursue this career at such a young age. They were much more excited then me."

" Seriously! then I can't wait to meet them. "

I was so happy to finally meet everyone and gazing out of the window I felt nostalgia, I see the streets that me and Cara was going crazy... We lived the best childhood.

Soon, we arrived outside of the house and the driver pulled the car aside and we hop out of the car. Ryan, paid the cab driver and the driver take our luggage out of the trunk of his car.

We begin walking towards the front porch and it was raining and I was feeling so cold. I rang the doorbell and my little brother Jackie open the door. My gaze travel behind Jackie and I saw mum was standing at the bottom step of the stairs and calling Cara.

" CARA! COME DOWN! DINNER IS READY!!

" Mum! I said and she turned her face towards me.

" AUDREY!! What a surprise? she pace up towards me and threw her arm around and embrace me.

" Aww, my sweetie pie I missed you so much. "

" Me too, mum."

She gaze over to the Ryan and ask me, who's he? I introduce Ryan to mum and in that moment my dad came out of the living room and seeing me he was extremely happy. They invited us to come inside and we both made our way to the living room.

My eyes were looking for Cara but I haven't seen here.

" Mum, where is Cara?

" She is upstairs in her room. She told us to don't disturb her."

" I'll go surprise her and Ryan my mother makes a best coffee in the world. You should try it. "

" Really, I'm huge coffee fan."

Mum, smiled and told them she is going to make coffee for everyone. Mum and me, walk out of the living room and I told mum that I'm going to see Cara.

I made my way upstairs and turn to the left side and stood in front her room door.

Cara POV

A great tremor overtook me raced down my cheeks.I could hold the heartbreak no longer and I fell to the floor in a disheveled heap as my grief poured out in a flood of uncontrollable tears. A tightening of my throat and a short intake of breath Gut-wrenching sobs that tore through my chest my body wracked with an onslaught of sobs and tears. Tears escaped my eyes followed by my fist meeting the wall.

Knock... knock... knock

A great sob escaped me, and I covered my face with shaking hands

wipes my cheek.

" Coming, just a wait a second."

I quickly ran into the bathroom and washed my face and walk back to the door to open the door.

" What happened? Mum.... My eyes got thunderstruck when I saw Audrey standing at the door.

" AUDREY!! OH MY GOD! I squeak and threw my arms around her neck and bear her in a hug.

" I missed you so much."

" Me too, Cara. "

I looked at her and ask her, when she came? and why she didn't tell me?

" I'll tell you everything but are you gonna stand me like that?

" Oh! I forget about it please come inside... "

She step inside my bedroom and I close the door behind and turn around and saw her seeing my messy room .

" When did you last time clean this room?

" UMMMM... a decade ago, just kidding I cleaned it last week and forget about that so, tell me when did you came?

She sat down on the bed and I sit down on the edge of the bed.

" I just landed an hour ago and actually, I wasn't planning to come meet you guys but my pageant event got postpone for a month or maybe two. God knows, for how long? So, I have decided to spend some time with my twin. "

" Mum, told me about it but why it's got postpone? well... nevermind good thing is that you are here . "

" Well, I am not alone."

" What do you mean by that?

" I need you meet with someone. "

" Who? is he here?? I jumped off at my feet but Audrey hold me from my arm.

" Wait! before you go just tell me what happened? and why you were crying?

" W- What do you mean? I wasn't crying.* I hesitate.

" Don't lie to me! I'm your twin I know you were crying... so, tell me what happened?

I sat down again folding my legs underneath me.

Earlier today

Cara's POV

I packed my staff and got up from the seat and theo got punishment to stay at Miss luan's office and complete his homework. I feel bad about him and decided to go check on him. I walked out of the classroom and making my way to the locker but I found something odd because from everywhere I pass from student either giggling or laughing by looking at me.

I found it weird but I continue my walk to the locker. I open my locker but as I was placing my books inside, someone snatched the books from my hand and said, " Aww, girl your pants have blood stain on it, have you got your periods? Do you need a diaper or something? Brooke scoffed

I touched my white pants and it was all wet from the crouch area with red food coloring. I gaze up saw theo standing behind he start laughing with his friends on me and the students who were present in the hallway also laughing at me.

" What do think b***h! I'll leave you like that" he scoffed.

Tears begin pouring down on my cheeks and I pushed him out of the my way and ran out of the school.

Present

" So, that is what happened? that is why I was crying the whole day."

" Why don't you teach him a lesson?

" I can't... I just can't do that"

" But why?

" Because I'm f*****g i***t who love him? I said unintentionally.

" Really! she ask me quite surprisingly

" No... I don't know why would I say that?

" You just say that and that's mean you are in love my darling."

" Am I?

" Of course, you are in love and that is so exciting."

" Come on, even if I do love him he would never love me back because the way I look?

" Why are you thinking like that? He will love you just the way you are beautiful from inside out. "

" OH! it's easy for you to say that because you are way beautiful and smart then me anyone can love you but my case is the worst he is my bully and plus he has a girlfriend"

She became quite for a moment and then she start speaking , " Well that is quiet interesting, if your love for him is pure then it will make his way to you. I bet you he will love you, just the way you are."

" How? that's impossible I don't believe it."

" Well, then let's bet on it if he will love you then you will give me a luxury vacation trip to Bahama."

I thought for a second but then I got a crazy idea in my head.

" I will bet with you but if you go as me to my high school and make him fall in love with me."

" WHAT RUBBISH IS THIS?? I don't look like you and I can't go to your high school no one is gonna believe me that I'm Cara."

" Why are you so afraid of it? I knew, you never do that because I'm the ugly and you are beautiful. Anyone and everyone loves you but not me."

" That is not about that!

" Then what is that about?

" I can't become like you this is not right."

" You said that love makes his way through, maybe you are my way to him."

" Nope, I have my own life and if I become you then what could happen in my life."

" I'm not saying that you have to be like me 24/7 but just for the school."

She asked me for some time to think about it and I told her, take as much time you needed.
