The party

I arrived at the party with arms tucked around Cara's friend. Already, I felt overwhelmed by the atmosphere.

" You've got be kidding me, right?"

" It's gonna be so much fun! Look, they've already got started."

My eyes scanned room, populated by all sorts of people. One of them, was already throwing up by the side of the room.

" Wow... He definitely started early. If I'm lucky enough I might ended up like him."

" I know, right? it's gonna be amazing! Now, it's time for you to make some new friends."

I looked at her completely confused but before I knew it, she was pulling me straight into the party. The smell of booze and the wall sound hit me with like a freight train. A party goer handed me a bottle of beer.

" When did I last time consume alcohol? Thanksgiving back in LA? Partly the reason why it was blur was that I spend most of it, asleep on the couch after." I thought. I took the bottle of beer and lightly took a swig of it. My taste buds were assaulted by the bitter taste of beer. Overwhelming gas. I spat out my drink. Garnering looks from other partygoers around me.

" Slow down there, girl maybe beer is not your poison?

I nodded in agreement, she linked arms with me and brought me over to her friend but before she could introduce me to her friend.

" HEY! YOU FATTY!

I turned around and saw a girl was standing there, wearing a revealing dress, calling me I guess.

" Don't go! Cara! Cara's friend warned me.

" Why?

" Are you nut's? don't go to her Cara."

I glance over to the girl, who were gesturing me to come over here. I ignored her warning and walk towards her. My attention suddenly, turned towards the group of people, in the mist of an obnoxiously loud game of, " Truth or dare"... weirdly mixed with "spin the bottle" I wasn't sure...

" Yes, what is it?

" We are missing a player in the game so, wanna get on this?

" Looks like, I wanna catch up with you guys. " Cara's friend said, coming from out of the blues.

" Oh, come on. Don't be a prude... it's just a silly game."

" I hate the pressure accompany by these kinda of games... What excuse should I give?

I tried my best to come with a good excuse but I figure out honesty is the best route.

" I'm not that adventures"

" Ah! Cara! but tonight is a adventure and you already in it and this is just a merely quest." the girl said.

" Brooke, she say, she doesn't want to play. Don't brother her."

" Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Olivia let her decide don't stick your nose in. "

I finally, got her name Brooke she must be the popular girl, judging by attitude and appearance, I wasn't wrong.

Suddenly, it become clear that all eyes were on me. I stood there unmoving.

" Screw it! put me in the game."

I looked at Olivia and she looks disappointed. I watched as the group scooted over, making room for me to sit down. I slumbed down on the couch. Brooke, cracked a smile as she repositioned the empty bottle on the table. The circle cozied up to the couch.

" I hate that I gave her into prodding but I'm gonna show her I ain't no prude."

" Now the game is, when the bottle spin towards you... you get called out. And then either you take truth or dare. Got it! Brooke said. She spun the bottle around and sure enough, it had to land on me.

" Wait... wait, Cara is a little shy here! you better take truth girl." Olivia said, sitting beside me.

" Nono, She wanted be in this game. She had better be playing."

Brooke scanned the room, looking for a some poor guy to victimized.

" YOU THERE!

A random dude looked back at her, stunned. Gesturing towards himself. He moves towards us.

" I dare you to kiss this gentleman over here! I bet she won't go through it."

" Wait, what? you can't be serious expecting me to-

Do it! Do it! Do it! before I knew it, the whole circle had caught on with her chant. The pressure was building up.

" This is literally the worst scenario possible... what do I do? I thought. I chortled out in mock laughter.

" Really,?what is this?pre-school? We are not playing around swings here. You want an adult challenge? I rather chug this entire bottle of beer right here." The crowd shook their head's in disapproval. Brooke was no exception. I begrudgingly picked up the bottle of beer that had been placed on the table earlier. I gulped.

" Here goes nothing."

I began chugging the entire bottle, trying to ignore God the awful taste permeating my mouth. The group echoed her booing. I looked down at the bottle to only see that I had only made it, only three quarter way down.

" No...No... No. That won't do, I'm afraid! let's up the ante now folks? I dare you kiss theo over there! she said. I could see the air in the group changed with the childish excitement. I looked over to where she was pointing.

The theo she describe looked tall and handsome for sure but... what I don't understand why is so hype about him... should I ask her or not... maybe not it might put them in suspicion.

" Look at her, dumbfounded by his appearance. " Brooke said.

" What? No! I just... I didn't get it What the fuss is all about?

" Real tough talk. I bet you wouldn't have balls to talk to him, let alone kiss him."

Brooke chortled as the group mimic her like the live audience in a terrible sitcom.

" Ugh, I had enough with her attitude." I thought. I got up infront of the crowd, admittedly a little tipsy with the liquid courage.

" You wanna a show, I'll give you a show."

" What?? are you going crazy?? Olivia said.

The group cheered and Brooke folded her arms and stare at me skeptically. I turned in theo's direction and took a deep breath.

" Just give me a few mint."

" Oh, honey. Take all time you needed. We ain't going nowhere. Not until you have given the" show" you promised "

I gathered myself and walked straight to him. Only to see him enter a room. I turned back to see the group eyes locked on me. Brooke had a smirk on her face.

" Oh, I'm not definitely backing away from him.Somebody gotta to put this b***h on her place." I thought.

I sucked up every last bit of a courage and pushed through the door. I enters in the room and shut the door behind me, silencing rush of sounds from outside. I leaned my head against the door, shutting my eyes completely I was Unaware of my surrounding. I had more than any amount of alcohol I've had in an entire year working on me. And I could feel my inhibitions slowly fading away my body.

" Be cool... be cool... this is nothing... easy peasy. God, I will never turn in to Cara again... Just open your eye and turn around Dammit!!! I thought

Suddenly, my train of thought rudely interrupted by the sudden appearance of someone unsavory.

" You can do anything, just put your mind on it baby."

He immediately, chimed in at the absence of my words. All of a sudden, Theo turned to face us. His hand literally wrapped around his p***s in a mid tuck.

" Oh s**t!! that's a...penis-your penis...shit!

Despite the muffled music from outside, my voice was still inaudible. I felt like I had lost my voice in that moment. I stared down on it again and the blood drained from my face.

" Do you mind? he asked me as causally as possible.

" I didn't... I couldn't even find words to finish my sentence.

" Don't tell me, it's your first sighting?

" Oh God! he is right up there! what do I say? I completely panicked at his question, posed me. The overwhelming nervousness finally gotten me. I instinctively covered my face.

When I heard theo zip up his pants. I felt save to open my eyes my eyes again . Theo was preoccupied with his zip, his friend decided to introduce himself to me.

" Hey, you can call me, JP... I believe I didn't get a name. I haven't seen you around freshman. I assume. Is it my turn now?

Zener almost backed over in laughter. I heard him he chimed in from behind me.

" Excuse my friend here, he is not the best among the company of ladies." theo said.

" Well, I'd assume if there is nothing much in his skull, there's nothing worth in his pants either."

I backed away from JP and turned in theo direction. Unknowingly, I bumped into theo's chest. I glanced up and saw that he was staring into my eyes intently, studying them. Hate to admit it, but he is such a hunk up-close... Those eyes... Almost as if he sensed my state of

panic, he frowned and turned over to his

friend.

" Ease up on her, man."

JP finally backed down and nodded.

" Apologize to the lady for making her

feel uncomfortable, you prick."

" Sorry, about that. Didn't mean any

trouble."

" See? That wasn't so hard, was it?

Perhaps next time, talk with your

head and not your d**k, huh?

That had put a smile on my face.

" My apologies. We'll leave you alone

now. Come on, let's heads up."

I breathed a sigh of relief. When it

suddenly hit me... wait a second! I'm not done with the dare. Seeing him reach for the door. My mind had twisted into a flurry.lacted upon impulse and just grabbed his arm.

" Um... excuse me?

Even JP had stopped and stared back

at me blankly.

" What are you doing? I took my hand back, put it to my side and clenched my fist.

" Come on! spit it out! I thought

" I'm here for you."

Theo raised his brows and sent JP a

confused look who just shrugged.

" You had better keep talking. Cause I

have absolutely no clue what's

going on here?

" I mean, I'm not here for you but I came " in" here for you. You don't know what I mean? probably not. I followed you in here because I need to ask you something." I could feel panic rising in my voice so, I kept power through.

" When I say I followed you in here, I

don't mean I'm stalking you or

anything like that because that'd be

crazy. I didn't even know you right!"

I let out a nervous laugh to clear the

silence in the air and patted his arm. Damm! why did I do that?

I quickly backed my arm away and

continued to spew out my words at

breakneck speed.

" l just...really, really need to ask you

something before I make a fool of

myself out there. And I thought what better way to do that than when he is alone..and I thought you'd be alone in here, and..."

The look on theo's face told me he

didn't understand a thing I was saying.

Then JP Jumped in.

" So, you are sending me out? I thought we had something special."

" No, I'm sorry, I didn't realize this was the bathroom anyway. If l'd seen you, I

would've waited outside. I had no idea guys did that going-to-bathroom-together thing. It's sweet that you do though.It'll just be a minute, really, then you

can come back and have him all to

yourself."

JP arched his brow at me but otherwise stayed quite. Suddenly, I thought possibility of their relationship, Are they...?

" Sorry, that sounded bad, didn't it?

Not that being gay is bad or

anything. I shouldn't have assumed. My friend is gay, and I know how hard it is

when people say the most stupid

JP cracked a laugh

" Slow down girl! My offer still stands if you want to come find me after you're done with my boy here."

Before JP walked out the door, I could

see him signaling to theo with his

finger in a circular motion next to his

head, like he thought I was crazy.

He left the bathroom But when I realized I was left all alone with theo I started to panic again. He crossed his arms and propped himself up against the sink.

" You reminded me off my sister Amelia, you are little shy? aren't you?

He said, completely out of nowhere which left us both in shocked.

" Well, Iet me can explain! When she was nervous, she talked endlessly too, did a lot of rambling. Even though she knew she didn't make much sense, she couldn't" I let out a laugh.

" You seeing me as your sister

doesn't bode well for me, especially

mess, so at this point, asking this

can't make things any worse."

thing in high school -daring, betting.

things about high school. I didn't know

could ask your permission- - before l attacked you in front of everyone or at least attempted to attack you in front of everyone to basically suck your face."

Theo broke out into a light chuckle.

" I'm your dare, is that what you are saying?

My body finally relaxed when he got the

point I had tried to get across.

" Yes.if that isn't being too forward. Can you go out with me and kiss me

in front of my friends?
