Uncle Vincent was thrilled about my job appointment with Fortune Building and Construction Enterprise. He promised to get some family pizza to celebrate it.
"Wow, Daniel. I'm so happy for you. Your mom would be proud of you, I know so…", his cheerful words came alive in my head.
"Mama, finally, I got a job! I know you're smiling up there, thank you for your sacrifices. I know I wasn't here when you needed me the most. I'm so sorry. I promise to stand by Uncle Vincent and Dean. You would want that from me", I moaned softly.
