Turns out the interview process was super-fast. Beta Zach returned, and within three seconds I was chosen. Will was excused immediately, and I was floored. I thought for sure that he would be chosen for the Gamma rank. I wasn't even sure why Beta Zach had insisted that I even be a part of the considerations, but when he told me to accompany him to Alpha Jessica's office, I was determined to do the best I could. Will easily would've beaten me in hand-to-hand combat. Not to say that I wouldn't hold my own against Will, I'm faster and I think I'm more observant than he is. Will is the perfect warrior though, strong, decisive and thorough.
