"I'd like to induct you to Delta. Would you accept the position?"
Will choked on his bite.
"What? Why would you want me as Delta?" He seemed truly shocked that I wanted him.
Being a pack Delta wasn't like the other ranked positions. Alpha, beta and gamma were all positions that you could be born into, but delta is always a chosen role.
"You were always meant to be Delta. Silas would have made you Delta once he took over as Gamma. You were his best friend." I reminded him.
Will laughed. "I'm not so sure about that."
