CHAPTER 28 Feeling Better

  Jessica POV   I woke up the next day feeling rested, which was a welcome change. I don't know if I finally accepted my parent's death, or if I just had a sense of satisfaction from tearing apart that hunter's body in front of his followers but I feel lighter. I got up and took a shower, taking note of the flecks of dried, stale blood on my sheets. I'll have to change those after my shower.   40 Minutes later, I was heading to the pack house for a late breakfast. I actually felt hungry today. I was feeling lighter than I had, and I wanted to move back into the pack house as soon as I could. Today, I was dressed in my own clothes, instead of a combination of my parents' clothes. My pack must've noticed a change in me as well, I was being greeted more today than I had all week. Honestly,
