Chapter 5

1005 Words
As the ambulance reached the hospital, Williams ran along with the doctors who carried the stretcher, into the emergency unit. "Mr Farren, you need to exercise patience. You cannot go with us into the emergency room, she'd need surgery, so we'd need you to approve." The doctor explained while Williams kept sobbing. "Just do the surgery!!" Williams picked up his phone and called Parker. "Call the commissioner of police, to look into a hit-and-run case. The driver must be caught before tomorrow." He said and cut the call hoping his Madison was still alive. Stephanie was sipping wine when the call came in. Yes? It's done, ma'am. I'm sure she didn't survive the hit. Stephanie smirked and cut the call. "If I don't deserve happiness, none of you do." Julianna was rushed to the hospital when she was informed about the accident. She met Williams waiting impatiently in the waiting room. "Mr Farren, what's wrong with my friend?" Julianna asked before starting to shed tears. "We were on a date. I was about to get her a teddy bear. She wanted to cross the street and a car hit her." Williams explained, trying to hold back his sanity. Julianna hugged him. "She's a strong woman, she'll be fine." {FIVE HOURS LATER>>>} The surgeon came out of the surgery room. "The surgery was successful. Mr Farren, I'd like to speak with you in my office." "Thank you, doctor," Julianna said. "Can we see her now?" "Yes, she's been moved to the VVIP room as ordered by Mr Farren." Williams followed the doctor to his office and awaited whatever he was about to say. "Mr Farren, I must say, she's a really strong woman. But then, while operating, we noticed something." The doctor explained. "What's that?" He asked earnestly. "She was pregnant before the accident and fortunately, we were able to save the fetus. She's really strong." Williams folded his fists in anger. "Alright, thank you, doctor." He said and stood before walking out of the office. He left Julianna at the hospital to find the culprit. Parker, has he been caught? Yeah, he's now at the station. Alright, I'm on my way. William sped off to the station and barged into the questioning room. He grabbed the driver by the collar. "Who sent you? You bloody fool!" The driver laughed. "And why would I tell you that?" "Cause if you don't, I'll make sure I ruin your life? And your freaking life would rot in jail!" He slammed. The driver flinched. "Alright... I'll talk. I was sent. Stephanie Miller, she hates Madison so much." Williams scoffed. "I warned her." He muttered. "Detective, arrest Stephanie Miller with immediate effect." He ordered in anger before barging out of the station. Madison fluttered her eyelids and groaned in pain. "Maddie? Maddie? You're awake?" She saw a figure hover over her. "Julie?" She muttered. "I missed you, honey, I was so scared." Julianna. "I was scared too, I cried like crazy, Williams did too." She said, holding her hands tightly. "Hold on, let me get the doctor." She tried to sit up and looked around her. The ward was very large and spacious, she knew Williams paid for it but suddenly felt sharp pains in her abdomen. The doctor walked in with Julianna and tested her. "She's fine now, although she needs to be here for two days to rest properly." Julianna bowed. "Thank you so much, doctor." The doctor nodded. "Miss Madison, I must commend you, you're a very strong woman, you had a baby in your tummy." Julianna gasped and jumped around in happiness. "A baby?! Finally, I'm going to become an aunty." "Had? I had a baby? It isn't there anymore?" Madison asked in fear. The doctor smiled warmly. "Don't worry miss, your baby is safe in there, just take good care of yourself and come for a prenatal care check-up, and you'll have a very safe delivery." Madison smiled and touched her tummy. Three days ago, she was wondering why her life was in so much jeopardy and now, she had a job, a boyfriend, and a healthy baby. "My baby..." She muttered as she kept touching her stomach. The doctor and Julianna left when Williams walked in and rushed to her. "Maddie." He muttered in tears. "Are you fine now darling?" Madison smiled at the man who changed her life in less than a week. "I love you so much Liam, I love you and our baby." She said in tears. Williams kissed her forehead, hands and tummy. "I love you too and our baby. I would give you the whole world." He smirked. "Milly is waiting outside. Could she come in?" "Oh my God, yes." Madison squealed. Milly walked in and immediately hugged Madison. "Hi sister-in-law, you're even more pretty than I had imagined." "Milly! Be careful with my wife," Williams warned. Milly rolled her eyes. "I'm going to steal her from you, watch out." She said and they all burst into laughter. Stephanie yelled. "Let me out, let me out!! Do you know who I am?" Madison and Williams walked into the cell. "Hey bitch." Madison scowled. "You tried to kill my baby and me?" "Don't think you've won, I'll get out of this cell and ruin your lives again!" Stephanie yelled. "Only that you can't, you're here forever, Miss Stephanie," Williams retorted. "You tried to hurt my wife and child, you're really brave. Enjoy your time here." He said before leading Madison out of the cell. "But then she did all these things out of love for you?" Madison said worriedly. "Isn't that too much?" Williams pulled Madison into a hug. "Let her learn her lessons, let's just focus on the three of us, baby." He kissed her. "I love you so much." "More than our baby?" Madison laughed. "No, love is equal." "But I want more love." She pouted. "I'm jealous." Williams laughed at her silliness. "I love you and our baby so much." He pulled her into a warm hug.
