Julianna barged into Madison's room and sat on Madison's body, yelling into her ears. "Wake up!!! You're already late for work."
Madison groaned and itched her eyes before turning her body to the other side of the bed. "Just leave me be."
"Are you crazy or something? You want to get fired?!" Julianna yelled, trying to drag her up.
Madison sat up, she yawned and sighed. "What time is it?"
"It's 10AM, when did you turn into such a lazy bum Maddie?"
Madison got up from her bed and walked sluggishly to the vanity. "Ugh, my face is so rough."
Julianna scoffed. "Is this Maddie? What is wrong with you? Are you okay?!" She yelled.
"Stop yelling at me!" Madison yelled back. "It hurts enough already. I didn't want to tell you, but I got fired, okay? You've heard it, I got fired, and now I'm clueless and jobless."
Silence enveloped the room and the only sound audible was Madison breathing loudly after yelling and trying hard not to sob.
"It's so hard for me Julie. My family abandoned me. I have no one except you. I don't even know. I feel I'm not even destined for happiness, every day of my life is full of pain and sorrow. No one cares about me." She broke down into the tears she had been holding back. "Many of my mates are so established, most of them even own companies, but here I am, i can't even boast of fifty dollars."
Julianna sighed and walked over to the vanity to hug her. "It's alright bestie, it's alright. Don't cry anymore."
Madison wiped her tears. "It's fine, I'm going for a job interview at Miller's by 2pm. I don't need a puffy face."
"A job interview at Miller's? How were you able to get that? I heard it's very hard to get a job there and talk less of being called for an interview."
Madison sighed. "I also don't know, i just decided to try to use my degree to get an office job. I'm just going to try my best this time."
"Be careful though. There are rumors that the C.E.O of the company, Stephanie Miller, is the granddaughter of the President, and she's a grumpy b***h. She literally doesn't care about the welfare of the employees but her work. She's hot though, men yearn for her body." Julianna blabbered.
"Look." Madison stopped her. "I really don't care about any of that, i just need a job." She stood from the vanity walked across the room to her open window and looked up into the sky. "Dear God, I need your help." She muttered.
{FARREN'S ESTATE}
As Williams Farren walked out of his suite, all the maids bowed in respect for their boss who was clad in a suit with his personal assistant, Parker, holding his suitcase.
Williams Farren was known for being the wealthiest C.E.O on the continent; his net worth ranked up to a trillion dollars. He came from a family of business moguls. His late father was the owner of a conglomerate of companies, and he had only a baby sister to whom he showed love and attention.
"Parker?" He called as he walked down the stairs smartly. "When is the Directors meeting happening?"
"By 2PM sir." Parker responded swiftly while working on the tablet.
"Baby." Milly, William's sister, yelled before hugging him. "I missed you so much, you smell so nice."
Williams smiled warmly before hugging her back. "Stop acting like a baby, Milly. You're 22 years old now."
Milly rolled her eyes. "Doesn't mean i can't be sweet to my brother," She said as they walked outside the house and to the garage brimming with exotic cars.
"What are you doing here anyway? Don't you have school to go to?" Williams asked.
Milly sighed. "I wanted to go with you, in the same car."
"But Milly, I have work to go to too," Williams retorted. "You have your own car, so why don't you drive it?"
She pouted her lips. "Pretty please."
Williams sighed. "Parker, do we have time to drive Milly to school?"
"Yes sir."
"Alright, let's go kid." He smiled as they entered the car.
Madison stood outside the huge Miller's building. She sighted different business moguls going in and out of the company.
She sighed before smoothening her skirt. "You can do this, Maddie!" She walked into the company not without people staring at her.
OMG! she's so pretty
I hope she's not here for an interview, because she's not getting the job whilst looking at that because
Throw her into a skimpy dress and she'll steal Stephanie's show.
Madison blocked everyone's opinions before walking into the elevator. She got out of the elevator and walked to the receptionist's desk.
"Good afternoon, I'm here for a job interview scheduled for 2PM." She said to the lady behind the desk.
The lady scrunched her face up in disgust before eyeing her. "God knows how they ask these people to come for interviews." She muttered before speaking to someone on the intercom.
Madison's hands were sweaty and twisted all over before she was called into the large and spacious office. She sighted Stephanie Miller in the middle of the seated interviewers.
"Good..." She was cut shut by Stephanie. "Who brought trash into my company? Why do you look this way?"
Madison looked at her dress and found nothing wrong with it. "But..."
"Get out." Stephanie scowled.
Madison ran out of the interview room in tears, she got into the elevator and then ran out of the building. On her way out, she bumped into a figure.
"What is it? Why is everyone so rude!" Madison yelled in tears. "Day by day, I face trouble. I think I now believe that I'm the most cursed person on earth. Nothing ever goes my way, nothing at all."
"Miss..." Parker called trying to stop Madison but WilliIms stopped him.
Suddenly, Williams wrapped his hands around Madison and started patting her back, shocking everyone.
