Dear God the Creator,

You are the ultimate author of our lives. We follow Your will, knowing that You have written the next chapter of our story.

You bless us with talents and skills.

You grant us the power of mind to create.

Yet, I often feel unworthy before You.

Who am I to be entrusted with such gifts?

You taught me that words hold power—

They can build or destroy.

The words I write in my own book are nothing compared to Yours.

So, I surrender everything to You.

I dedicate this book to You.

I have never sought fame or fortune,

Nor do I crave validation; I know my worth.

I ask that You protect this work, which took years to create. Though this is fictional, my emotions behind it are genuine.

I pray that no one takes away the glory You have bestowed upon me. Guard this work from those who would plagiarize it— in the name of Jesus Christ.

With this trust, I place my book in Your hands. It belongs to You; use it as You will.
