★JASMINE★ My eyes shot open at the sound of water droplets plinking into a puddle. Wondering why I couldn't see anything, I tried to open my eyes and failed before realizing they were already open. Everywhere was pitch black and I could feel myself lying back flat on a cold bare floor with my head facing upward. Perplexity had my brows drawn together as I pondered why I couldn't see the stars or perhaps the moon at least. Most night skies were the darkest of greys, but this was pure black. It was like someone shut off the stars and moon. The darkness felt heavy, oppressive, and almost supernatural. And it left my mind racing with several questions. Where am I at the moment?
