My head rested on Caroline's shoulder as she hummed a rhyme her mother used to sing to her when she was still a child.
“We are approaching the Azria Kingdom!” Announced our coachman and I quickly raised my head to meet her excited gaze.
“Finally!” Caroline squealed as she latched her fingers into mine, shaking our hands violently.
“We did it, bestie,” I said with my lips spreading in a grin of accomplishment.
Getting this far was very hectic and life-threatening, Caroline and I fought and killed about fifty rogues who tried to attack us on our way. At night, we'd pack our carriage on a lowland in between trees to avoid any attention, but still, we weren't able to get a single sleep just so we could always be on alert.
