The End
"Elena." I heard someone calling my name.
I tried to open my eyes, but I feel so weak.
All I can do is listen to their voices.
"I think we lost them"
"We need to leave now!" The urgency from the woman's voice is so clear.
"She's already dead. Leave her."
"She's not! She's still breathing!" I feel like someone lifted me up from where I was lying.
"I'm taking her with us."
"She's dying, Damian! She'll just going to be a burden to us!" Another voice said.
I know them. My circle.
The Circle I once belonged to.
Eversince I was born, my parents taught to always help those who are in need. Especially those who are part of my Circle.
A group of people I can call my own my home.
"I said no! Come on, let's go! "
"You can't keep that up! You're also wounded."
"Sam's right."
"Shut u---"
*Thud
And then I fall.
My whole body.
It hurts.
"Sorry, Dame"
"Louis, carry him."
"What the hell? You knocked him down and then ask me to ca-"
"Just do it!"
"Guys, I really think we should run now. I can hear them."
It's cold.
I felt the breeze as I hear them run away.
Just why?
Why did they left me?
I thought everyone of us is important to each other. We might have differences but those things can help us to know more and improve ourselves.
They're my friends. My family.
But they left me.
And then I remember everything.
They resent me.
They thought I was the traitor in our circle.
It was a set up. It's too late to tell them.
They tortured me.
Cut my tongue to prevent me from talking.
Chopped off my hands so I can't point it at them again.
Why? Why is this happening to me?
Is this how my life will end?
Accused as a traitor in our circle. Alone and in pain.
And then I heard footsteps running towards me.
Did they come back to get me?
"Sir, this one is already dying."
It's not them.
"Is she part of that circle?"said a man's voice.
It seems familiar. But I can't tell who it is.
The tone of his voice seems so cold. I can feel unending chills in my spine.
"She's the traitor." I flinched at that word.
I'm not!
It's all because of them.
I will never betray my own kind!
"Kill her."
And that's the last word I heard before my life came to an end.
