Sophie Bianchi sat in her small apartment, staring at the stack of books in front of her. She was supposed to be studying for her exams, but her mind kept wandering back to the night she had spent with Alexandro Rossi.
She couldn't believe she had been so reckless, so stupid. She had let her desire for financial security cloud her judgment, and now she was paying the price.
As she sat there, lost in thought, Sophie's phone rang. She hesitated for a moment before answering it.
"Sophie, it's Marco," her boyfriend said. "I've been trying to reach you all day. What's going on?"
Sophie sighed, feeling a pang of guilt. She hadn't told Marco about her encounter with Alexandro, and she didn't know how to bring it up.
"Nothing, Marco," she said. "I've just been studying for my exams. That's all."
Marco hesitated for a moment before responding. "Sophie, I know something's wrong. You can tell me. What is it?"
Sophie took a deep breath, trying to decide what to do. She knew she couldn't keep her secret hidden forever, but she was scared of what might happen if Marco found out.
"I'll tell you everything, Marco," she said finally. "But not over the phone. Can we meet up somewhere?"
Marco agreed, and they made plans to meet up at a coffee shop later that day.
As Sophie hung up the phone, she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. She knew she had made a mistake, but she was determined to make things right.
But little did Sophie know, Alexandro Rossi was not going to let her go without a fight. He had set his sights on her, and he would stop at nothing to make her his.
As Sophie sat in her apartment, waiting for Marco to arrive, she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched. She looked around the room, but there was no one there.
Suddenly, her phone rang again. Sophie hesitated for a moment before answering it.
"Sophie, it's me," a low, menacing voice said. "You can't escape me. I'll always find you."
Sophie's heart racing, she tried to respond, but the line was dead.
She was left sitting there, wondering who had just called her, and what they wanted.
As she waited for Marco to arrive, Sophie couldn't shake off the feeling that her life was about to change forever. She was trapped in a web of deceit and danger, and she didn't know how to escape.
And then, just as she was starting to feel like she was going to lose her mind, there was a knock at the door. Sophie's heart skipped a beat as she got up to answer it.
But as she opened the door, she was surprised to see that it wasn't Marco standing there. It was a stranger, a tall, dark-haired man with piercing eyes.
"Can I help you?" Sophie asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
The man smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I'm here for you, Sophie," he said. "You're coming with me."
And with that, Sophie's world went black.
