Many hours passed before I awoke. When I did, I realized that my wounds had been tended. A handsome blond-headed kid came to check on me.
“Are you okay?”
“I don’t know. I hurt all over.”
“That’s what happens when Rodrigues and his wife rent you for the night. I think she is far more evil then her husband,” he explained.
“So you’ve been through a similar ordeal?”
