“Help me,” I begged, as I dropped back into the water. I think I heard him laugh. My head stayed under for a few seconds more. I couldn’t get any more air. The natural response of survival kicked in, and I started to thrash. I swallowed more water. I could feel it in my chest. It burned. I felt strange sensations flashing in my brain as it was starved for oxygen. Then just before my world blackened, I felt him lifting me to safety. When my head finally cleared the tank I gasp for that much needed air. I coughed and choked, spitting out that vial liquid that nearly took my life. But he wasn’t through playing his game. I hung there upside down for several more minutes before he again lowered me back into the tank. “No… please no more,” I begged, but it did no good. Just before my mouth
